Ludwig Achleitner

Johann Ludwig Achleitner (born January 13, 1799 in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , Electoral Palatinate Bavaria , Holy Roman Empire , † May 2, 1873 in Rosenheim , Kingdom of Bavaria ) was a German composer, organist and music teacher.

Life

Ludwig Achleitner initially worked as a teacher in Großkarolinenfeld until 1818 . That year he was transferred to Birkenstein. He later lived and worked in Frasdorf for 52 years . The zither player Joseph Christoph Achleitner and the singer Innozentius Achleitner were his sons.

reception

The work of Ludwig Achleitner with regard to the school history of Frasdorf is remembered in the Frasdorf Village Museum.
