Baron Ludwig Alexander Rölemann von Quadt zu Wickrath and Zoppenbroich, Meiderich and Hagen (* 1675 - 14 March 1745 ) was Vice President of the Kleve government .

Life

origin

His parents were Wilhelm Roeleman Quadt von Wickrath (* 1635; † September 11, 1691) and his wife Johanna Catharina von Bylandt (* 1633; † December 13, 1710).

Career

On January 6th, 1721 he became Royal Prussian Real Secret Minister of State and High President of the government in Kleve. Ludwig Alexander was a bearer of the Prussian Order de la Générosité .

family

Ludwig Alexander was married twice. On May 15, 1696 he married Albertine Sybille von Huchtenbruck (* 1675; † April 26, 1701). His wife was the heir daughter of the Treasurer of the Duchy Cleve Albert Georg von Hüchtenbruck († January 26, 1716). As a result, the eldest son inherited Wilhelm Albrecht, one condition was the acceptance of the name Hüchtenbruck , which is why it was called Quadt and Hüchtenbruck from 1706 onwards.
