Ludwig Arps

Ludwig Arps (born June 26, 1907 in Padingbüttel , † 1974 in Graefelfing ) was a German scientist and author .

Life

Arps worked as a business editor at the Frankfurter Zeitung from 1941 and after the Second World War he worked in the same position at the Deutsche Zeitung and Wirtschaftszeitung in Stuttgart . From 1945 to 1946 he was the British military government as acting district administrator of the district Wesermünde used after he was until 1951 Oberkreisdirektor . Most recently he worked as a consultant at Allianz Versicherungs-AG in Munich .

Arps excelled in particular with publications on insurance history. In 1953 he received a teaching position for contract insurance in the national economy.
