Ludwig August Leonhard von Wickede

Ludwig August Leonhard von Wickede (born April 16, 1797 in Dammerstorf , † April 16, 1867 in Rostock ) was a German administrative and fiscal lawyer.

Life

Ludwig August von Wickede was the son of the landowner and administrative officer Anton Christoph von Wickede . In the Wars of Liberation from 1813 to 1815 he participated as a member of the Mecklenburg-Schwerin military police corps and then studied law at the University of Göttingen , where he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Göttingen in 1817 . After the student body moved to Witzenhausen in 1818, he was expelled from the University of Göttingen as one of the ringleaders and continued his studies in Heidelberg in 1819 . After completing his studies, he became a civil servant in the Güstrow office in 1824 . 1833 was from Wickede Mecklenburg Drost and judge. From 1835 he acted as Mecklenburg State Tax Director in Rostock and published on the corresponding topic.

In Rostock von Wickede was a freemason and master of the chair of the lodge to the 3 stars in the Orient .

The writer Karl Friedrich von Wickede was his son.
