Ludwig Christian Pezolt (born April 2, 1712 in Eisleben , † after 1776) was a German physician and city ​​physician from Nordhausen .

Life

Ludwig Christian Pezolt studied medicine with Christian Gottfried Stentzel and Johann Friedrich Crell at the University of Wittenberg and received his doctorate in 1738 . He then first became a doctor and later a city physician in Nordhausen.

Pezolt was a member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences, founded in 1751, and an honorary member of the ducal society of Jena.

On July 20, 1752, Ludwig Christian Pezolt with the academic surname Chaereas II was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 576 ) of the Leopoldina Scholars' Academy .

In 1757 Pezolt published the extensive obituary for Friedrich Christian Lesser for the Leopoldina . From around this time he then worked as a high prince. Schwarzburg councilor and travel medic as well as imperial councilor and count palatine.
