Catarina Katzer (born March 20, 1973 in Karlsruhe ) is a German social psychologist and sociologist who specializes in the psychological and social effects and thinking and acting in the digital world ( cyber psychology ).

Katzer studied social psychology , sociology and economics . She wrote her doctoral thesis on cyberbullying among children and young people at the Institute for Economic and Social Psychology at the University of Cologne , where she also teaches.
