Ludwig Cohnstaedt

Ludwig Cohnstaedt (born August 17, 1847 in Oels , Lower Silesia ; died December 24, 1934 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German business journalist and editor .

Life

Ludwig Cohnstaedt completed an apprenticeship as a business assistant. In 1870/71 he fought as a volunteer in the Franco-German War . From 1872 he worked in a Frankfurt bank. From 1877 to 1909 he worked as an editor for the commercial section of the Frankfurter Zeitung . In 1909 he became general manager.
