Ludwig Correggio
Ludwig Correggio (born May 15, 1846 in Munich ; † 1920 or 1930 there ) was a German landscape painter.
He was the son of the painter Josef Correggio (1810-1891) and the older brother of the painter Max Correggio (1854-1908).
After taking painting lessons from his father, Corregio studied from October 21, 1861 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Hermann Anschütz . After completing his studies, he visited Tyrol , Styria and Italy . Correggio was friends with Wilhelm Leibl .
Correggio mainly painted landscapes.
