Ludwig Eichhorn (politician, 1924)

Ludwig Eichhorn (born March 24, 1924 in Duisburg ; † August 21, 2006 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life

After attending elementary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship and retrained as an electric welder in 1945 . From 1950 he was a member of the works council , from 1969 to 1985 Eichhorn was chairman of the works council.

In 1950 he became a member of the SPD and was represented in numerous party committees. He was also a member of IG Metall .

From May 28, 1975 to May 30, 1990 Eichhorn was a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 072 and 066 Duisburg I, respectively.

From 1962 to 1974 he was a member of the city ​​council of Duisburg. He was also a member of the landscape assembly of the Rhineland Regional Council from 1962 to 1974 .
