Ludwig Franz von Breitenbauch
Ludwig Franz von Breitenbauch (* December 5, 1797 in Wurzen ; † January 4, 1881 in Ludwigshof bei Ranis) was a royal Prussian chamberlain , secret councilor , district administrator of the district of Ziegenrück and member of the state parliament .
Life
He came from the Thuringian noble family Breitenbauch . The second line formed by Hans Georg von Breitenbauch (1601–1633) was continued by him.
Like two of his ancestors, he became district administrator of the Prussian district of Ziegenrück in the Erfurt administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony, where the family-owned Ranis Castle was located.
As a member of parliament, he represented the district of Ziegenrück in the state parliament of the Prussian province of Saxony , which met regularly in Merseburg .
At Brandenstein Castle, Ludwig Franz von Breitenbauch married Pauline Karoline Albertine von Breitenbauch on April 25, 1830, who came from the Brandenstein line of his family and lived from 1808 to 1883.
Ludwig Franz improved the profitability of the property by demolishing the outer bailey of Ranis Castle and building a new courtyard in the valley, which he called Ludwigshof. The Italian manor house and the barns, which are also accessible above, are characteristic.
His eldest son was Arthur von Breitenbuch (1831–1909), Prussian chamberlain and district administrator of the district of Ziegenrück.
