Ludwig Helf

Heinrich Ludwig Helf (born June 29, 1837 in Groß-Oschersleben , † November 3, 1918 ) was a German judge .

Life

Helf studied law at the Friedrichs University in Halle and became active in the Corps Marchia Halle in 1859 .

Sworn in in 1861, the Prussian Helf was appointed trainee lawyer in 1863. In 1869 he became a district judge, in 1877 a district judge and in 1879 a district judge. In 1880 he was appointed regional court director and in 1892 regional court president. In 1896 he came from Gleiwitz to the Reichsgericht in the IV Civil Senate . In 1904 he retired. At the age of 81 he died six days before the proclamation of the republic in Germany .

From 1873 to 1876, Helf was a member of the Merseburg constituency 2 (Schweinitz, Wittenberg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party .
