The motor acts via a fully modulatable Twin Disc MG 514M gearbox on a fixed propeller with a diameter of 90 cm. The ships reach a speed of 10 knots .
A shaft generator with 35 kVA apparent power and a diesel generator with 45 kVA apparent power are available for the power supply.
The ships are equipped with a bow thruster with 42 kW power. The hull is reinforced with ice . The ships are classified with ice class "E".
In the stern area there is a work deck of around 42 m². A Palfinger PK 13000 M working crane is located here on the starboard side of the ships. The crane's lifting capacity is 1.7 t with a 4 m extension. With a maximum extension of 10.30 m, 600 kg can still be lifted.
