Ludwig Hettling

Ludwig Hettling (born October 9, 1938 in Bremen ; † September 14, 2007 ) was a German politician ( SPD and work for Bremen and Bremerhaven ).

Life

education and profession

Hettling attended elementary school. He learned the profession of a plumber and worked as a plumber, plumber, coppersmith and pipe fitter. At times he was also a member of the works council and chairman of the works council. From 1966 to 1970 he completed training and further education as a refa specialist .

From 1966 to 1972 he worked as a plumber in aircraft construction at VFW in Bremen. After completing his advanced training, he became work preparation, then a technical planner and, after further training, a technical business economist and cost planner in plant planning. From 1971 to 1972 his training as a technical business economist took place on evening and weekend courses. From around 1972 to 1983 he was the exempt works council chairman and spokesman or member of the economic committee of the general works council at MBB , formerly United Flight Technical Works (VFW). From 1978 to 1982 he was an employee representative on the MBB Supervisory Board.

From 1987 to 1991 Hettling was the main department manager in purchasing at Deutsche Airbus GmbH in Bremen.

Since 1991 he has been self-employed with an agency for ship investments and for P&R container leasing funds .

Hettling was married and had one child.

politics

Hettling was a member of the SPD from 1966 to 1995. On November 15, 1983, he moved to the German Bundestag for Claus Grobecker , who had left the Bundestag, and remained a member of the Bundestag until 1987, until the end of the parliamentary term. Here he was a member of the Transport Committee and a deputy member of the Research and Technology Committee. For the SPD he was a member of the Bremen citizenship from November 1, 1982 to October 12, 1983 and from October 13, 1987 to October 12, 1991.

Since February 8, 1995, he has been a member of the Arbeits für Bremen und Bremerhaven (AFB). From June 8, 1995 to June 7, 1999, Hettling was again a member of the Bremen citizenship for the AFB. He was represented in the committees for ports, Bremen communication technology, constitutional and parliamentary reform, the state advisory board for sport and in the investigation committee “Bremer Vulkan” as well as in the deputations for ports and for economy and ports.

Hettling had been a member of IG Metall since 1961 . From 1977 to 1983 he worked as an honorary labor judge at the Bremen Labor Court .
