Ludwig Necker

Ludwig Necker (* 1756 in Stuttgart ; † after 1812 there ) was a royal Württemberg court engraver .

Life

Necker was trained from 1770 to 1781 at the "Académie des Arts". In 1781 he was appointed court copper engraver and taught drawing from 1785 to 1794 at the Hohen Karlsschule and in 1812 at the junior high school. His creative period extended until 1796. He was a student of the copper engraver Johann Gotthard von Müller .
