Ludwig Schuon

Ludwig Schuon (born March 21, 1871 in Calw ; † December 5, 1937 in Munich ) was a German manager in the chemical industry .

Career

Since 1914 Ludwig Schuon was on the board of the Badische Anilin und Soda Fabrik ( BASF ). From 1919 he headed the sales department there. In 1924 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the natural science and mathematics faculty of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg .

With his substantial collaboration, IG Farben was founded in 1926 , of which he was director until 1927. In 1927 he resigned from the IG Farben board for health reasons. He was an honorary professor at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg , a secret councilor and a member of the administrative and supervisory board of IG Farbenindustrie A.-G.
