Ludwig Weisbecker , also Ludwig Weissbecker and Ludwig Weissbecker (born March 19, 1915 in Mainz , † June 13, 1979 in Mielkendorf ) was a German internist, endocrinologist and professor of internal medicine .

Weisbecker was a prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp at the time of National Socialism , his Jewish father Louis Weisbecker in Auschwitz and Mauthausen. From May 13, 1948, Ludwig Weisbecker was lecturer in internal medicine at the University Clinic in Freiburg, from May 25, 1953, an adjunct professor, and around 1956 as senior physician and professor, assistant to the internist Ludwig Heilmeyer (Department of Endocrinology), working on his textbook for internal medicine participated as an author. From November 1, 1962, he was a full professor of internal medicine. In Kiel he was director of the medical clinic and polyclinic of the university in the municipal hospital. 1969/70 he took over the post of rector of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel .

Ludwig Weisbecker was married to Rotraud Weisbecker-Röttger. One of his sons was the terrorist Thomas Weisbecker (1949–1972).
