Ludwig Wilhelm Seyffarth

Ludwig Wilhelm Seyffarth (born January 21, 1829 in Naumburg (Saale) , † 1903 in Liegnitz ) was a German Protestant theologian, educator and parliamentarian.

Life

Seyffarth studied Protestant theology at the Friedrichs University in Halle . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Neoborussia Halle . From 1863 to 1875 Seyffarth was rector of the city school and assistant preacher in Luckenwalde . In 1875 he became pastor (later senior pastor) and school inspector in the Silesian town of Liegnitz . As a member of the Liberal Association and the German Liberal Party , he sat in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1879 to 1887 . For decades he dealt with Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi .
