Luis Mansilla Almonacid (born July 26, 1986 in Puerto Natales ) is a former Chilean track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Luis Mansilla was runner-up in scratch at the 2004 UCI Track Junior World Championships in Los Angeles . In 2006 he won a stage of the Vuelta Ciclista de Chile on the road . The following year he won his first title as Pan-American Champion in Scratch in Valencia, in 2011 he won in the Omnium and in 2014 in the points race . At the Track Cycling World Championships in Manchester , UK , he finished tenth in the scratch. In 2011 he finished second at the Pan American Games in the Omnium and won three stages of the Vuelta Ciclista de Chile on the road.

In 2012 Mansilla started at the Olympic Games in London and finished 18th in the Omnium on the track. In the same year he was again successful at the Tour of Chile by winning two stages, the team time trial and the combined classification.
