Luis Pintsch

Luis Pintsch (* 1999 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Luis Pintsch attended the Waldorf School in Berlin-Mitte .

He was in front of the camera for the first time in the film drama Somewhere in Tonga (2017), which was based on an actual case and was shown in the ZDF series “Shooting Stars - Young Cinema in Second”. In it, he embodied the 16-year-old Marcel, a violent criminal who faces jail sentence after assaulting a social worker and who is given the opportunity to be imprisoned on a desert island at the side of social educator and dropout Wolski ( Sascha Alexander Gersak ) serving in the South Pacific . Pintsch, who plays this role "sometimes full of anger, sometimes very vulnerable", was described in the Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung as an acting "discovery". Pintsch received an award for his performance at the Milan International Film Festival in the “Best Supporting Performance Male” category and was nominated for the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award as the best young actor.

In the 17th season of the ZDF series SOKO Cologne (2019), Pintsch took on one of the episode roles as the 18-year-old suspect youth Lenny Petzold.

In the fourth film in the ARD series The Lisbon Crime , which premiered on Das Erste in April 2019 , Pintsch played the young, wealthy David de Costa, who is suspected of having set a fire in a forest, in one of the leading roles in the flames of which his friend died. In the 5th season of the TV series In allerfreund - Die Junge Ärzte (2019), Pintsch took on a dramatic episode lead role as the young diabetic Jan Radke.

Pintsch lives in Berlin.
