Theodor von Bonin

Henning Wilhelm Theodor von Bonin (born December 12, 1799 in Krangen ; † November 22, 1852 ) was a Prussian manor owner and district administrator . From 1845 to 1848 he headed the Neustettin district in Western Pomerania .

He came from the Prussian noble family von Bonin . His father Johann Friedrich von Bonin (* 1749, † 1799) was the owner of a manor in Krangen. His mother Marie Friederike Albertine was born from Vangerow .

Bonin attended the Gröningsche Gymnasium in Stargard . In 1816 he joined the Prussian Army , where he served in the Guard Dragoons Regiment . In 1822 he took his leave as second lieutenant .

After the death of his uncle Ernst Henning von Bonin in 1821 he became a co-heir to his property. In 1823 he married and moved to the heir Wulfflatzke estate . Theodor von Bonin was involved in local politics here. From 1832 he was district deputy for the Neustettin district and from 1842 also landscape deputy for the Pomeranian landscape . He was repeatedly elected as a deputy member of the Pomeranian Provincial Assembly, from the 6th Provincial Assembly to the 9th Provincial Assembly. In April 1848 he took part in the Second United State Parliament as a deputy .

In 1845 Theodor von Bonin became district administrator for the Neustettin district . At the end of April 1848 he resigned. Hermann von Busse followed him in office .

Theodor von Bonin was married to Friederike Charlotte Marianne, born von Vangerow . Several children were born from the marriage. His daughter Alexandrine Theodore (* 1824, † 1864) married his successor in office, District Administrator Hermann von Busse , in 1851 . His son Hugo von Bonin (* 1826, † 1893) became a member of the Prussian manor house.
