Heinrich Braasch

Heinrich Braasch (born October 3, 1902 in Bogenthin , Kolberg-Körlin district ; † September 29, 1941 in Kart Kassak , Ukraine ) was a German administrative lawyer and successively district administrator for the Dramburg , Neustettin and Breslau districts .

Live and act

Braasch was 1902 bow thin in Pomerania and studied after his graduation in 1922 at the Georg-August University in Göttingen law . There he joined the Holzminda fraternity in 1922 . He went to Heidelberg for a semester . After successfully completing his studies, he returned to his homeland in 1925, from where he went to Altona as a trainee lawyer in 1928 . In 1933 he was on the board of the German Municipal Assembly and in 1934 chairman of the Pomeranian Municipal Assembly. From 1933 to 1935 he was district administrator in Dramburg , from 1935 to 1940 in Neustettin and finally from 1940 in Breslau . From 1940 Braasch served in the Wehrmacht . He fell in 1941 as a first lieutenant in the advance division of Infantry Regiment 213 in a battle near Kart Kassak / Krim on the branch canal in the Ukraine .
