Alexander Zabel Ernst von Münchow

Alexander Zabel Ernst von Münchow (born November 6, 1746 in Eichenberge , Neustettin district ; † April 2, 1815 ibid) was a Prussian district administrator in Western Pomerania . From 1786 until his death he was in charge of the Neustettin district.

He came from the noble von Münchow family . His father Daniel Heinrich von Münchow (* 1719, † 1791) was the heir to the Eichenberge and Dallenthin estates in the Neustettin district . His mother Ilse Marie († 1773) was born by Ramel .

Münchow served from 1762 to 1774 in an infantry regiment of the Prussian army , where he was last lieutenant ("Sekonde-Lieutenant"). When he left in 1774 he was given the character of a captain .

After the death of the previous district administrator Georg Ernst von Kleist , Münchow was elected the new district administrator of the Neustettin district in 1786 and was appointed by the king after passing the exam. He held the office until his death in 1815.

Münchow owned the Eichenberge and Wuckel estates . In 1777 he married Friederike Louise, born von Münchow from the Nemmin family.
