Casimir Gerhard from the east

Casimir Gerhard von der Osten (* 1708 ; † 1773 ) was a Prussian district administrator in Western Pomerania . From 1732 to 1758 he headed the Neustettin district .

He came from the noble family of the East . His father Aegidius Christoph von der Osten (* 1661, † 1741), was district administrator in the Neustettin district, court judge and heir to Pinnow , Burzen , Klein Born and other estates. His mother Martha Marie († 1729) was born from Borcke . His brothers included Johann Otto Heinrich von der Osten , who rose to the rank of colonel in the Prussian army, and Matthias Conrad von der Osten , who became president of the Kurmärkischen War and Domain Chamber.

In 1732, Casimir Gerhard von der Osten succeeded his father as District Administrator of the Neustettin district . He resigned from office in 1758; his successor was Georg Ernst von Kleist .

He owned the Pinnow and Burzen estates . He died in 1773, leaving behind a son.
