The Luisa Bay is a small bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It lies between Cape Vakop and Mount Skittle .
The South Georgia Survey surveyed the bay between 1951 and 1952 . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1955 after the Luisa , a transport ship that has been in the service of the Compañía Argentina de Pesca of the Norwegian entrepreneur Carl Anton Larsen since 1904 , which is now wrecked in King Edward Cove .
