Louise Morland

Louise Morland (born February 17, 1899 - † October 15, 1966 in Berlin ; also known as Luise Morland or Luise Moorland ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Louise Morland had engagements at various Berlin theaters (including the Deutsche Bühne and the Freilichtbühne Rehberge).

From 1926 she worked in various film productions . Among them was the silent film The Adventures of a Ten Mark Note by Berthold Viertel with Oskar Homolka , Werner Fuetterer and Harald Paulsen . In 1935 she was in the historical film The Old and the Young King , directed by Hans Steinhoff with Emil Jannings , Werner Hinz and Carola Höhn and in 1943 in the Ufa anniversary film (for the 25th anniversary) Münchhausen by Josef von Báky with Hans Albers , Ilse Werner and Brigitte Horney can be seen.

Louise Morland also worked as a voice actress. She could be heard as the German voice in the role of Mrs. Louisa Jordan in the Alfred Hitchcock film The 39 Steps .

Louise Morland died on October 15, 1966 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf .
