Emilie Luise Pasternak , b. Franz, widowed Mancke (born March 4, 1859 in Eibenstock , † November 8, 1927 in Dresden ) was a German writer.

From 1878 to 1883 Pasternak, the daughter of the businessman Julius C. Franz, worked as a teacher in Reichenbach in the Vogtland . During this time, from 1880, she was already active as a writer.

Her first marriage was to the teacher Heinrich Oswald Mancke. After he died in 1891, she married the writer Alfred Pasternak for the second time .

Luise Pasternak lived in Radebeul in 1898 . In 1898, Alfred Pasternak, as the owner of the villa, had a remise built on the plot of land at Dr.-Schmincke-Allee 10 in Serkowitz , which was presumably just acquired by the builders Gebrüder Ziller , from 1905 onwards a district that was incorporated into Radebeul.

Some of Pasternak's novels were also published in America.

Pasternak and her two husbands were buried in the same tomb.
