Lukas Bauer (born February 25, 1989 in Schwandorf ) is a German national volleyball player .

Career

Lukas Bauer started his career in the Upper Palatinate home with 1. FC Rieden . He then played in the youth team of VC Hirschau and in the boarding school project at VC Olympia Kempfenhausen . With the junior national team, he took part in the European Championships in 2008 and took second place. In the 2008/09 season he played in the Bundesliga team of SG Eschenbacher Eltmann . In 2008 he made his debut in the senior national team at the age of 19 . Lukas Bauer has been playing for VfB Friedrichshafen since 2009 and was German champion in his first season . In 2011 Lukas Bauer suffered a shin fracture, so that the season ended prematurely for him. In the summer of 2011 he moved to the French league A to Spacer's Toulouse , 2012 to the southern French club Arago de Sète and 2014 to Saint-Nazaire Volley-Ball Atlantique. In 2015, Bauer returned to the German Bundesliga for the newly promoted United Volleys Rhein-Main . In 2018 he moved to league competitor TSV Herrsching . In June 2019, Bauer ended his career at TSV Herrsching after completing his studies.
