Lukas Dauser (born June 15, 1993 in Ebersberg ) is a German gymnast and sports soldier in the Bundeswehr .

Life

Dauser has lived and trained at the base in Berlin since January 2012, but starts for TSV Unterhaching and in the German Gymnastics League for TG Saar.

At national level, Dauser was the German runner-up in the jump in 2013 and was able to win bronze medals in both the all-around and in the jump in 2014. Dauser won the German team championship title with KTV Straubenhardt in 2015.

In 2014, he was part of the German squad for the first time at the World Gymnastics Championships in Nanning , with which he took eighth place in the final of the team competition.

At the Challenge Cup 2014 in Anadia , Dauser showed a new gymnastics element on the parallel bars . The giant Diamidov rim on a spar with Healy back on the upper arms was included as a "Dauser" in the official scoring rules as a C part. In 2015 he secured his first World Cup victory in São Paulo .

Dauser became German single champion for the first time in 2016 at the German Championships in Hamburg. On bars he secured the gold medal from the German serial winner Marcel Nguyen . He also won silver on the horizontal bar .

At the pre-Olympic tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he took first place with the German team, which was synonymous with the Olympic qualification for the German Gymnastics Federation. Dauser came third on the parallel bars. On July 10, 2016, Lukas Dauser was nominated by national coach Andreas Hirsch for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
