Lukas Klingler

Lukas Klingler (* 1986 in Tyrol ) is an Austrian trombonist . Since 2008 he has played solo trombone in the orchestra of the Lower Saxony State Opera in Hanover .

Life

At the age of 10, Lukas Klingler began playing the trombone at the Hall Music School. From 2000 to 2002 he took private lessons with Otto Hornek. From 2002 to 2008 he completed his concert studies at the University of Morzateum Salzburg with Professor Dany Bonvin (solo trombonist of the Munich Philharmonic ). He is currently a member of the Brass Connection Tirol and the Austrian Trombone Quartet. Klingler has won several scholarships, such as the Orchestra Academy of the Munich Philharmonic and the Herbert von Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic .

  • Prize winner at the International Brass Competition in Passau .

  • 2003–2006: Solo trombonist in the Young Austrian Philharmonic.
  • 2003–2005: Solo trombonist in the orchestra of the International Orchestra Academy in Bayreuth .
  • 2006–2007 Orchestra Academy of the Munich Philharmonic
  • 2007-2008 Herbert v. Karajan Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic
  • since 2008: State Opera Hanover.

In addition, he played or plays in the following orchestras, among others: Solo trombone with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra , the Munich Philharmonic (as a scholarship holder), the Hamburg Philharmonic, Hamburg State Opera , the Staatskapelle Halle, the Radio-Sinfornieorchester Vienna as well as the Landestheater Innsbruck and Salzbruck.
