Florian Christopher Lukas Meister (born April 16, 1986 in Heitersheim ) is a German singer-songwriter , musician and lyricist .

Career

In his youth, master received piano lessons before he taught himself the electric bass and guitar. Own compositions and texts are created. a. be performed with the school band Flapjack. After graduating from high school, he studied musicology, German and Italian.

From 2007 to 2011 he is active as a bassist and composer in the hip-hop formation RockRainer under the pseudonym “Flowmeister” . During this time, the first German-language texts were written, which formed the basis for his career as a singer-songwriter.

After his first solo appearances in 2012, the finals of the Stuttgart Troubadour Competition (2nd place) and the Chanson Prize in the Sulzbacher Salzmühle (2nd place) play an important role in the musician's career.

In February 2013 he was in the audience of the Berlin show TV Noir and announced himself as a surprise guest. This appearance, together with a guest appearance on RTL, ensures growing awareness.

In 2013, the first album was recorded with the collaboration of musician friends, which was released in September 2013 under the name Wanderjahre on the independent label Rummelplatzmusik and became a success within the songwriting scene.

The album mainly reaches a public through airplays and radio stations. a. on Radio Fritz (RBB), Deutschlandfunk, WDR 5, WDR 4, BR2, BR3, SR 2, SR 3, BRF, SWR 2, Flux FM, EchoFM, Tide, Laut-FM, Herbstgewitter, and much more. Video clips for the songs Weiter (Videobuero) and Das Leben, das (Timmy Hargesheimer Photography) will also be released as part of the album release .

This is followed by concerts and radio interviews with Fritz, SR3 and others. v. a. and tours throughout Germany as a solo artist and with bands in various line-ups. In spring 2014, BR3 broadcasts a 30-minute interview with Lukas Meister. In February 2015 he opened the Blackbird studio sessions series with the Israeli band LFNT. Two videos from the intimate acoustic session will be published in April 2015. In the same month a special “Herbstgewitter” program appears, in which Lukas Meister presents his favorite German music.
