Lukas Ossenkopp (born January 17, 1993 in Lüneburg ) is a 1.94 m tall German handball player . He plays for HSV Hamburg in the 2nd Bundesliga and is deployed on the middle back and left.

Career

Lukas Ossenkopp started playing handball at the HSG Lüneburg at the age of six. After two years at TUS Jahn Hollenstedt / Wenzendorf, he switched to the B-Jugend of SC Magdeburg for the 2008/09 season , where he attended the sports boarding school until he graduated in 2010.

From November 2010 he played for the third division team of HSV Hannover and for TSV Hannover-Anderten in the A-Jugend Bundesliga-Ost, in which he took second place in the scorers list with 158 goals.

After three seasons in the third division team of HSV Hannover, he joined the HF Springe for the 2014/15 season and was promoted to the 2nd handball Bundesliga in the 2015/16 season. With 106 goals he was the most successful field scorer in the HF Springe in the 2nd handball league.

He has been under contract with the Handball Sport Verein Hamburg since the 2016/17 season .

At the Christmas games in the Barclaycard Arena he was the most successful thrower on December 26, 2016 in front of 8,555 spectators with 10 goals, and on December 26, 2017 in front of 9,964 spectators with 7 goals.

Ossenkopp has been the assistant coach of the A-youth from the handball sports club Hamburg, which competes in the A-youth Bundesliga , since autumn 2018 .
