Lukavica is a suburb of Sarajevo . In contrast to most of the city, it belongs to the Republika Srpska . Before the Bosnian War , Lukavica was part of Novo Sarajevo .

The district is located east of the airport and below the Mojmilo hill . In the west, the Dobrinja district borders Lukavica.
