Luke Schulz (born June 11, 1984 ) is an American skeleton athlete .

Luke Schulz started playing in 2007 and has been a member of the US national team since that year. He lives in Davenport and is trained by Jason Hartman (endurance) and Erin Hamlin (track). After training and qualification races in 2007, he contested his first race in the performance class with the US championships in 2008 and, in fourth place, almost immediately missed a first medal. He then made his debut in the Skeleton America's Cup at Park City and finished 12th in his first race. In the same month he was able to finish ninth in Calgary and thus achieve a top ten result for the first time. In 2008/09 he started in both the America's Cup and the European Cup . In Lake Placid he finished second behind Chris Burgess in the penultimate race and won the last race before that. Behind Grégory Saint-Géniès , he finished second in the overall standings. In the European Cup, eighth place in his first race in Winterberg was the best result. His best result in the 2009/10 season was a second place behind Matthew Antoine , as in the previous season's America's Cup race in Lake Placid.
