Luna Simao (* 11. February 1996 in Luebeck ) is a German pop and R & B - singer .

Live and act

Luna Simao is the daughter of an Angolan and a German and attended the Johanneum in Lübeck . There she also sang in the school big band. After she published the cover song Stronger Than Me by Amy Winehouse on the video portal YouTube , the music producer Dennis Scheider noticed her in 2011. They produced several tracks and started work on an album. With the title It goes up to the clouds , Simao took part in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2013 for the state of Schleswig-Holstein and reached sixth place. At 17 she was the youngest ever to take part in this competition.

After a break of several years, their second EP "Irgendwann" was released on June 15, 2018. Her third EP, Dreams , was released in autumn 2019 .
