The 9th Bundesvision Song Contest took place for the first time in Baden-Wuerttemberg on September 26, 2013 , following the victory of Xavas last year . The manufacturing company was Brainpool . The venue for the event was the SAP Arena in Mannheim .

The winner was the musician Bosse from Lower Saxony , who was able to prevail against the competition with his title One way or another. 153 points were enough for him to win, with two times the maximum number of twelve points. Bosse entered the singles chart at number 83 with his title in August and climbed to number 25 as a result of winning the contest.

Johannes Oerding from Hamburg came second with his title Nothing goes before MC Fitti with Fitti with a beard in third place.

The returnees were Bosse , who already participated in 2011 together with Anna Loos and the title Frankfurt / Oder , and Pohlmann, who participated in 2007 with the title Girls and Rabauken .

As the opening act, last year's winner Xavas did not appear back with their winning song Schau . Xavier Naidoo acted as a break act with the song The Last Glance .

particularities

• At 17 years, 7 months and 15 days, Luna Simao was the youngest participant since the start of the contest.
• Lower Saxony was only the second federal state to win the contest for the second time.
• The winning title Either way , Germany achieved the second worst chart rating of all winning songs; only Auf Kiel (2008) was even worse. In addition, the single has the worst chart position of all titles with the highest chart position of all BSC contributions of a year.
• For the first time (and so far for the only time, as of 2015 ), no contribution was able to make it into the Austrian charts.
• Since (once again) no contribution was able to place itself in the Swiss charts, 2013 marked the first and so far only year in which no contribution was found beyond the German single charts.
