The song was written and produced by the Count and Henning publishers . The single was released under the music label Vertigo Berlin . Music video

Bundesvision Song Contest 2010

Unheilig won the Bundesvision Song Contest 2010 for North Rhine-Westphalia with a lead of 12 points over the band Silly , who played for Saxony-Anhalt , with the song Alles rot (152 points). During the scoring of all 16 federal states , Unheilig set themselves apart relatively early on, with a small but steady gap in front of their fellow competitors. In addition to their home in North Rhine-Westphalia, they also got full marks from Rhineland-Palatinate , Lower Saxony , Hesse and Baden-Württemberg . This was the first victory of an artist from North Rhine-Westphalia in the sixth edition of the Bundesvision Song Contest .

Under your flag reached number nine in the single charts in Germany and was in the charts for a total of 21 weeks. In Austria the single reached position 29 and was in the charts for twelve weeks.
