I want to live is a song in collaboration with the German rock - bands Unholy and Project Pitchfork , the first and only single from the Unholy live album Goldene Zeiten was extracted. It was first published on September 15, 2006 in Germany. The single is only available as a maxi CD in Germany, in all other countries the song is only available as a download. The music and lyrics of the song come from the two singers of the bands, the Count (Unheilig) and Peter Spilles (Project Pitchfork), it was produced by the Count. The maxi CD also contains the following B-sides: I want to live (Club Remix) and I want to live (Pitchfork-PS-Mix) . The song was released under the label Four.Rock. Until 2011 I will live is the only song that Unheilig recorded with another band.

In the beginning the song was only intended as a bonus track for the Unheilig live album Goldene Zeiten , the two bands got along so well after the song was recorded that they went on tour together six months later. Two weeks before the start of the tour, the two bands released the single I will live for promotional purposes.
