Gipfelstürmer Live is the seventh live album of the German pop-rock - band Unholy .

Creation and artwork

The live recordings for summiteers were made on April 9, 2015 in the GETEC Arena in Magdeburg . An exclusive album version for the Austrian market was recorded on April 6, 2015 in the Wiener Stadthalle . All the tracks on the album were composed by the Count , mostly with the support of Markus Tombülle and Henning Verlage . The composer Kiko Maßbaum is also involved in three titles. The album was released under the music label Vertigo Berlin and distributed by Universal Music Publishing . On the blue and black cover of the album - in addition to the artist name and album title - a comic representation of an old steam locomotive can be seen. The photographs in the booklet come from Erik Weiss. The artwork and the illustrations of the cover and the booklet come from the Dirk Rudolph office . It's the same cover image as for the previous studio album Gipfelstürmer , only the color scheme has been changed.

Publication and promotion

Gipfelstürmer Live was first published on June 19, 2015 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . The double album consists of 20 live recordings. In addition to the regular album release in Germany, the release of an “Austrian version” with a recording from the Wiener Stadthalle followed. Both album versions were released at the same time and contain the same number of tracks and all tracks are in the same order. With the exception of one song, all pieces are also available as individual downloads. Only the live version of Born to Live can only be purchased digitally in connection with the entire album.

Track list

All lyrics are written in German. Musically, the songs move in the field of pop-rock . All pieces were written by the Count, together with changing composers. The album contains mostly songs from the previous studio album Gipfelstürmer , as well as some of the most successful hits of the past. Compared to the studio version of Gipfelstürmer , the following titles are not included in the live version: Echo , Hand in Hand and Der Gipel (Outro) . Echo was played live in Frankfurt, for example.

Summiteer indoor tour

This list contains all concerts in chronological order that have been played or are still being played on the 2015 Gipfelstürmer Indoor Tour . The concert in Essen was actually planned for June 20, 2015, but since four other events were to take place in a small radius on this day and the volume of traffic wanted to be reduced, Unheilig switched to September 12, 2015.
