We are all like one is a song by German pop-rock - band Unholy . The piece is the second single from her sixth compilation album Alles hat seine Zeit - Best of Unheilig 1999-2014 .
Creation and artwork
The song was written by the Count , Markus Tombäne and Henning Verlage , produced by Roland Spremberg , mixed by Moritz Enders and mastered by Sascha Bühren. The single was released under the music label Vertigo Berlin . A caricature of the earth can be seen on the black and gold cover of the maxi single . The picture is made up of many small pictures and shows the outline of the globe. The cover photo was created by Erik Weiss and designed by Dirk Rudolph .
Publication and promotion
The first publication of We are all like one took place on March 7, 2014 digital release. The release as a physical maxi single followed a week later on March 14, 2014 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . The maxi single contains a piano version of the song as a B-side .
On March 13, 2014, Unheilig competed with the piece in the German preliminary decision Our Song for Denmark for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 against artists like Madeline Juno , Oceana and Santiano . In the first round, Unheilig sang as if it were the first time , in the second round they competed with We are all like one . In the final they took second place behind Elaiza , who won with 55% and the title Is It Right with Wir sind alle wie Eins . There was also a live appearance in prime time during the awarding of the Golden Hen 2014 by the MDR - and rbb television .

We are all like one reached position 29 in the single charts in Germany and stayed in the charts for a total of three weeks. This is the twelfth chart success for Unheilig in Germany. For publishers, We are all like one is the eighth author participation that was able to place in the singles Top 100 in Germany.
