Second studio album Salvation (2015-2016)

After Juno retired for about a year, she returned with the promo single - and the first release from the upcoming second studio album - Into the Night on November 27, 2015. With Salvation , another promo single from the album of the same name was released on January 15, 2016. A poetry video was released for both promotional releases. Two weeks later, the first official single, Stupid Girl, followed on February 2, 2016. The maxi single was released as a download and contains three remix versions by B-Case , Madizin and Sway Gray. Too Stupid Girl appeared two official music videos. The first was released on February 13, 2016 with the album version of the song. This shows Juno's everyday life in Santa Monica (United States). The second music video for the remix version of Stupid Girl was released on March 20, 2016. It shows Juno in front of a turquoise wall and singing the song in a moving car. Both music videos were directed by Philipp Gladsome. The single missed a chart entry.

On February 25, 2016, Juno played a single concert with her band in Berlin's Fluxbau . A day later, the second studio album, Salvation , was finally released . The album consists of 13 studio recordings and is available on CD and download. A “Deluxe Edition” was published at the same time. This includes five more studio recordings and a remix. The album was already available for pre-order on November 27, 2015. The American music blogger Bradley Stern described Juno's singing as a mixture of Ellie Goulding meets Tove Lo and compared the lyrics to Taylor Swift . He placed Salvation on position ten of the best albums in 2016. In order to promote the album, there followed, among other things, a live appearance with Stupid Girl in prime time during the ESC Grand Prix Party 2016 on Hamburg's Reeperbahn . Further appearances followed in the ZDF morning magazine and with You Know What? in the ZDF television garden . Salvation reached position 35 in the album charts in Germany and stayed in the charts for a week. In Austria and Switzerland, the album reached position 70 in a week in the chart. For Juno, Salvation is the second chart success in Germany and Switzerland and the first in Austria. For the first time, one of her albums was able to be placed in all DA-CH countries at the same time .

Four months after the album was released, You Know What? (Madizin Single Mix) the second and so far last single from the album on June 3, 2016. The piece was released as a single download and, like its predecessor, was not published in its actual album, but in a remix version by Madizin. The music video for You Know What? (Madizin Single Mix) tells the story of a young couple, played by Juno and Chris Brenner. Again directed by Philipp Gladsome. The second single also missed a chart entry.

Change to German-language music with forest fire (2016-2017)

After two English-language studio albums, Juno released a German-language sound carrier for the first time with Waldbrand . After the first two German-language titles on an official Junos sound carrier appeared a few months earlier on the “Deluxe Version” of Salvation , the Waldbrand EP was the first completely German-language sound carrier Junos. In some interviews, she revealed that she wrote a lot for other German artists in 2016 and was curious to see how she sounds today in her mother tongue. So far there have only been two early songs by her in German, which she published on her YouTube profile and later on the "Deluxe Version" of Salvation . In 2014 she published the song Herzchen and a year later Küss die kalten Jungs . She wanted to know whether her songs work in German and whether they can then be produced "extremely modern". The beginning of this "new journey" started with the single forest fire of the same name . You wrote the piece out of nowhere. When she finished it was clear to her: "Yes, okay, this is the direction I want to go". You think he liked her so well in their native language to express and not only do they have clarity, and the people would listen to their music a clarity that does not necessarily exist before, unless you had "exceptionally bad" dealt with it. Both EP and single were released for download on September 30, 2016. The EP consists of five studio recordings. A CD was released on October 21, 2016, which was initially distributed during Juno's Salvation Tour . After the tour, the autographed limited edition CD was available from Junos Merchandise Shop. Musically, the songs move in the area of electro pop , which was partly due to the inspiration of Calvin Harris and Major Lazer . Forest fire has so far missed a chart entry. The EP was only able to place itself on two days (September 30 to October 1, 2016) in the German iTunes daily evaluations, in which it posted its highest ranking with 17th place.

From October to November 2016, Juno and her band went on their second independent concert series called the Salvation Tour . The tour extended over a period of two and a half weeks and took Juno and her band through twelve German cities and once to Switzerland. With the exception of one concert in Offenburg , the Berlin singer-songwriter Benoby played in the opening act of all concerts . Juno's cousin Valentina Mér played in the opening act in Offenburg.

On January 20, 2017, Juno released a new single, Forever , which also served as the soundtrack for the German children's film Wendy - The Film . The commercial success of this publication failed to materialize. Two weeks later, No Words, another promo single from Juno's second studio album Salvation, was released . This is the third promo single from Salvation .

Third studio album DNA (2017-2018)

Juno with Ribbon in Worsted (2017).

With the release of the single Still , Juno heralded the promo phase for their upcoming third studio album. The single was released on May 5, 2017 as a single download. The second single, Poison, followed, which was also released as a single download on July 28, 2017. Like its two predecessors, the third and final pre-release single Halt mich fest was released on August 25, 2017 as a download. The single was released with two remixes and not just as a single download. Music videos appeared for all three singles. All publications fail to enter the official charts.

On September 8, 2017, finally Juno's third studio album was released DNA . This is Juno's first studio album that consists entirely of German-language songs. The production was done by Oliver Som , who was already responsible for the production of the Waldbrand EP and parts of Salvation . The album consists of 15 new studio recordings and a new edition and is available as CD and download. After the album was released, Juno released three acoustic-version videos in addition to their official music videos to promote the album at irregular intervals. Videos were published on shadows without light (September 16, 2017), without clothes (October 2, 2017) and phantom pain (December 1, 2017). All three black and white videos only show Juno, accompanied by her keyboardist, singing the songs. The videos were edited by Juno himself. In order to further promote the album, a live performance followed - with phantom pain - during prime time as part of the children's aid campaign Herzenssache of the Südwestrundfunk (SWR) and the Saarländischer Rundfunk (SR) . There was also a live appearance with Poison in the VIVA Top 100 . DNA reached position 58 in Germany and was in the album charts for a week.

One month after the release of DNA , the DNA Tour started a series of concerts to present the album live. The DNA Tour was Juno's third independent concert series. The tour extended over a period of around nine months and took Juno and her band through 18 German cities. The tour initially ended with the final concert in Hamburg's Stage Club on October 30, 2017. During the tour, concerts were canceled or postponed, so that a second tour section was played in summer 2018. During the first part of the concert series in 2017, Juno was supported in the opening act by British singer-songwriter Joey Cass. In the second part of the concert series in 2017, the German musician HALLER played in the opening act. The program consisted mostly of songs by DNA . All tracks from the album were played. While the previous concert series consisted of English-language sets, Juno only played two English-language pieces during this tour.

With Schatten ohne Licht , the fourth and so far last single from DNA was released on April 13, 2018 , more than half a year after the album was released . Like its predecessors, the single was only available for download. In addition to the album version, the maxi single includes an alternate and piano version as well as a remix by the Mannheim DJ duo Banks & Rawdriguez.

The Acoustic Tour was Juno's fourth headlining tour. Musically she was only supported on stage by her long-time band member Joschka Bender on the cajón and the guitar . Juno himself played guitar and ukulele on selected tracks . The Berlin-based German-Irish folk and indie pop band Valery, of which Bender is a permanent member, played in the opening act. Because Bender belongs to Juno's live band and he accompanied them on the tour, he could not stand on stage with his band, he only came on stage for the last song Roamer . During the tour, Juno presented 18 different titles. For the first time, the repertoire consisted of a purely German-language set. A little more than half of the setlist consisted of tracks from Juno's latest studio album, DNA, as well as tracks from older releases and previously unreleased tracks. With reason enough , Before you and What remains , Juno presented three new, previously unreleased titles. From the second concert in Berlin, Juno regularly sang the Elvis-Presley cover Can't Help Falling in Love . On April 12th, 2019, the second pre-release single from the upcoming fourth studio album was released with Gib noch nach . With Automatic , the third advance single followed on May 31, 2019. After a new edition of the song was released with Automatic (Helmo Remix) , the fourth single followed with reason enough on July 26, 2019. On September 6, 2019, the fourth was finally released Studio album What remains with twelve new studio recordings as CD and download. At the same time as the regular album was released, a limited “fan box” was released. This also includes the What remains (acoustic EP), which was also published at the same time, as well as merchandise . The Extended Play is only available on CD in conjunction with the box set, it can also be purchased separately as a download. After its predecessor, DNA, only reached number 58 in the German album charts, Was remains made it to position 25. In the German-language album charts , Was remains reached position 13 and in the download charts position 16.

Between October 23, 2019 and November 7, 2019, Juno went on tour again this calendar year. The What remains tour took her with her main band - consisting of Bender, Henzl and Scheufler - through 13 German cities. Juno gave her first concerts in nine of 13 clubs as well as in the three cities of Frankenthal , Freiburg im Breisgau and Osnabrück . The concerts in Berlin , Dortmund , Frankfurt am Main and Hanover were sold out by the end of September . The concert in Dresden was originally supposed to take place in the Groovestation, but was moved to the Scheune cultural center . As with the acoustic tour , the German-Irish band Varley will play again in the opening act for nine concerts. The Swiss singer-songwriter Damian Lynn played in the opening act for the remaining four concerts . During the tour, Juno and her backing band presented 19 different titles. The repertoire consisted mainly of a pop music set, with some acoustic performances in the middle of the concerts. More than half of the set list consisted of pieces from the presentation album What remains . From What remains , Juno played all the songs with the exception of the title Black and White .

Obsolete (2020)

On August 21, 2020, Obsolet was her first new release in the 2020 calendar year. The piece was released as a single for download and streaming with an accompanying music video. Juno himself comments on the relationship in the accompanying music video with the following words: "In memory of the biggest pile of shit that has ever happened to me & the best that could have happened to me".
