The DNA Tour is the third independent tour of the German singer-songwriter Madeline Juno .
background
The DNA Tour was the third independent concert series Junos as the main act. The tour took place in two stages and extended over a period of nine months. The first section began with a concert in the Bochumer Zeche on October 10, 2017 and ended with a concert in the Hamburg Stage Club on October 30, 2017. Within these three weeks Juno and her band played twelve concerts in Germany. During this tour section, concerts were canceled or postponed, so that an unplanned second tour section was planned for summer 2018. This additional second part started on May 1st, 2018 in the Cloppenburger Stadtpark and ended with an appearance at the State Garden Show in Lahr / Black Forest on June 2nd, 2018. The second tour section consisted of six concerts, all of which also took place within Germany. The DNA Tour thus consisted of a total of 18 concerts, all of which took place in Germany. The tour was presented by Kulturnews , The Pick, Schall Magazin and Vevo . In addition, the concerts in Kaiserslautern , Offenburg , Mannheim and Stuttgart were carried out in cooperation with SWR3 . The tour ended with the final concert in Hamburg's Stage Club on October 30, 2017.
Tour changes
The tour was originally supposed to start on October 5, 2017 in the Orange Club in Kiel and include a total of 19 concerts. For unknown reasons, the four concerts in Kiel, Lüneburg , Göttingen and Fulda had to be postponed to the new year. The concert in Hamburg had to be moved from the Gruenspan to the Stage Club for "technical production reasons" , but took place on the same day. In addition to various postponements, three concerts had to be canceled entirely, which affected planned concerts in Wilhelmshaven , Lübeck and Lingen . The catch-up concerts took place during the “Festival Summer 2018”. In addition to the four catch-up dates, two additional concerts took place in Cloppenburg and Lahr / Black Forest .

Setlist
The setlist during the DNA Tour varied between 19 and 20 tracks. While the concert in Cologne consisted of a total of 19 songs including an encore, 20 songs were played in Frankfurt am Main and Hanover . The program consisted mainly of songs from the presentation album DNA , from which all tracks were played. While the previous concert series consisted of English-language sets, Juno only played two English-language pieces during this tour. The only English-language pieces she played with her band were Error from her debut album The Unknown and Salvation from her second studio album of the same name . Error is the only track that Juno played on all of their tours. In addition, she played two tracks from the previously released Waldbrand EP with Verlernt and Waldbrand . At the concert in Frankfurt or Hanover she also played the song Stadt im Hinterland , which also comes from the Waldbrand EP . Amid the concert there was a Akusiksession, the songs in Juno Error , Unlearn and slow motion presented in acoustic form. The encore consisted of the three tracks Still , Our Song and When I arrived , the latter also being presented in acoustic form.
