Music and lyrics

The lyrics to Error are in English; Translated into German, the title means "Fehler". Both the music and the lyrics were written jointly by David Jost, Madeline Juno and Dave Roth. Musically, the song moves in the area of pop music . The instrumentalists were Patrick Benzner and Lars Ehrhardt on guitar, Reiner Hubert on drums, Boris Matchin on cello, Stefan Pintev and Rodrigo Reichel on viola and violin, and Dave Roth on guitar, keyboard and piano.

In the song Juno deals with the pain of a great heartache: “I no longer understood the world, I didn't know what to do with me. What is the next step? Where everything is so confused and broken anyway. " Error is" just this error message in your head, where you realize: Ok, nothing is right. I've got to get out of here".

"No, you don't wanna know this kind of love,
and you don't wanna know the night you realize
the error (error, error) in this kind of love."

"No, you don't want to know that kind of love,
and you don't want to know the night you see
the mistake (mistake, mistake) in this kind of love."

- Refrain, original extract

Reviews

Stern.de recorded error than "Music Tip of the Week".

The German-language online magazine laut.de rated the album The Unknown with 3/5 stars. David Maurer thinks the song is heading in a similar direction to the album track Same Sky . But Error comes with a “more significant” and clearly more “pompous” refrain.
