Grant Stevens

Grant Stevens (born October 27, 1953 in Sydney ) is an Australian singer , lyricist and composer .

In the early 1970s he left his homeland for England. In London he recorded various singles and LPs, worked a. a. with The Who producer Kit Lambert . In 1981 and 1984 two LPs followed as the singer of the German band Nervous Germans .

In 1984 Grant Stevens moved to Germany, where he worked as a singer, lyricist & composer for The Window Speaks , Holsten Pilsener TV commercial ( Everlasting Friends ), the musical Beauty and the Beast , Peter Hofmann , Jennifer Rush , Christopher Cross , Percy Sledge , Jürgen Marcus , Rhythm Corporation ( Wild for You , C&A TV and cinema commercial), Noble Creed, Triumvirate , Depp Jones , Unheilig , Bilgeri, Michelle, Barry Ryan , Dan McCafferty, Chris Norman , Sash! , Johnny Logan , Far Corporation, Gerd Köster , Peter Fleischmann (title song Hard to Be a God for the film It's not easy to be a god ), Obsession (lyrics for the soundtrack of the film by Peter Sehr ), Rover-2000- TV commercial, solo album with CBS (1989) and EMI ( Grant Stevens ), Robin Hood (German-language musical), Contergan (ARD Germany) and numerous studio productions.
