Lunana ( Dzongkha : ལུང་ ནག་ ན་ ) is one of 4 Gewogs (blocks) of the Dzongkhags Gasa in north-western Bhutan . Lunana Gewog is in turn divided into 4 Chiwogs (constituencies). Around 700 people (2005) live in this Gewog on an area of 3020 km² in 13 villages or hamlets in approx. 155 households.
In addition to the Gewog administration, state institutions include a public primary school (Community Primary School) in Lhedi, a station for basic health care, an office for the development of renewable natural resources (Renewable Natural Resource Extension Center), and a guard office of the Jigme -Dorji National Park . Religious institutions are the Tshojong Dzong and the Tshojong Nai.
