Luoze

Luoze (also called Lodue ) (born May 10, 1962 in Tibet ) is a Chinese mountaineer . He has currently climbed 13 eight-thousander main summits and one secondary summit .

In 1990, 1999 and 2008 he stood on Mount Everest . In 1993 he was able to reach the summit of Dhaulagiri , a year later that of Shishapangma and Cho Oyu . The Gasherbrum II followed in 1995 and the Manaslu in 1996 . With the ascent of Kangchenjunga and Lhotse in 1998, he managed to climb two of the four highest mountains in the world in one year. In 2001 he reached the pre-summit of Broad Peak . This was followed Makalu (2003) and K2 (2004). In 2006, he stood on the highest point of the Annapurna , one year later on the Gasherbrum I . Since he himself believes that he has completed the Broad Peak ascent, he counts himself as one of the few climbers who have climbed all eight-thousanders .
