The Lutrive is an approximately six kilometer long tributary of Lake Geneva in the Swiss canton of Vaud . It drains a section of the Jorat and belongs to the catchment area of the Rhone .

The Lutrive rises at about 791 m above sea level. M. in a forest on the south-western outskirts of Savigny . It flows in a south-westerly direction and crosses the border to Lutry at the Bois de la Ville forest . After it has touched the hamlet of Croix it takes its most important tributary from the right with the Macheret .
The stream now flows south-southwest through the village of Lutry, where the Lutry stone row is on the right bank of the river . Finally it flows into 372 m above sea level. M. channels in a small alluvial cone into Lake Geneva. On its way to the mouth it is usually accompanied by a forest edge.
