Lux Maurus was the offspring of a Kempten family. 1493-built it on behalf of Maximilian I , the grave plate of red Verona marble for the Battle of Calliano fallen Venetian condottiere Roberto Sanseverino d'Aragona, which in the Cathedral of Trent is located. The grave slab of Prince Bishop of Trento Johannes Hinderbach , which is in the Diocesan Museum of Trento and was created shortly afterwards, is also attributed to him . From 1515 to 1527 he lived and worked actively in Kempten. It is proven that he was registered as a guild master from 1521 to 1523 . Another work he made dates back to 1503 and is located in the Bad Grönenbach collegiate church of St. Philipp and Jakob .
