Lycium martii is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Lycium martii is an upright shrub that reaches a height of 1.5 to 5 m. The leaves are hairy and 10 to 53 mm long and 5 to 25 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic and five-fold. The calyx is bell-shaped and hairless. The calyx tube becomes 2.3 to 2.5 mm long and is covered with 0.5 to 1 mm long calyx lobes. The crown is funnel-shaped and colored white. The corolla tube is 4 to 5 mm long, the corolla lobes 2.8 to 3 mm. The stamens are densely haired with fine trichomes 3 to 4 mm above the base .
The fruit is a spherical berry that becomes 4 mm long and 3 mm wide. It contains a multitude of seeds .
Occurrence
The species occurs in the Brazilian state of Bahia and on Cuba .
