Lycium repens is a vegetable art from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium repens is a prostrate dwarf shrub that reaches heights of up to 0.35 m. Its leaves are succulent and hairless. They become 2 to 27 mm long and 1 to 5 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic and five-fold. The calyx is tubular and hairless to densely hairy with fine trichomes . The calyx tube is 3 to 5.5 mm long and is covered with 1 to 2 mm long calyx lobes. The crown is spreading and colored white-pink and has a red or purple crown throat. The corolla tube is 5 to 8 mm long, the corolla lobes 2 to 3.5 mm. The stamens are hairless.
The fruit is an orange, spherical berry that is 8 mm long and 10 mm wide. Each ovary compartment contains eleven to fifteen seeds .
Occurrence
The species occurs in the Argentine provinces of Chubut and Santa Cruz .
