Lyle Mark Sendlein (* 16th March 1984 in Edina , Minnesota ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the center . He played his entire career with the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Sendlein attended high school in Scottsdale , Arizona . He later attended the University of Texas at Austin , where he also played for the college football team.

NFL

After Sendlein was not selected in the 2007 NFL Draft , he signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals . Sendlein already gained playing experience in his first season. From his second season onwards, he became a regular player in the center's position. He reached the Super Bowl XLIII in the 2008 season , which was lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers at 23:27 . Sendlein was released from the Cardinals on March 12, 2015. On August 7, 2015, he signed for another year with the Cardinals, after which he resigned from professional football.

Sendlein is an American of German descent. His father Robin Sendlein also played in the NFL as a linebacker .
